We are Nathan and Laura, the husband-and-wife team behind Honor & Oak. We married in 2023 and brought together our shared interests in woodworking, gardening, flowers, and creating things for our home and family. Those interests eventually grew into Honor & Oak.

Laura has had a lifelong love of flowers and plants. During her years working for a wholesale plant nursery, she learned not only about plants and how they grow, but also about the business behind growing and selling them. Today, she is often in the vegetable beds and flower gardens, bringing in the harvest and helping decide what we should grow next.

Nathan started growing vegetables in 2020 after seeing fresh foods disappear from store shelves during COVID. The goal was simple: bring part of the food supply closer to home, know where our food comes from, and better understand what goes into growing it.

Honor & Oak Woodcraft came first. What started with woodworking projects for our own home grew after friends and family encouraged Nathan to turn the hobby into a small business. Cutting boards, gifts, and other handmade pieces followed, and the garage slowly became a working woodshop.

But Honor & Oak was never meant to be only woodworking. Honor & Oak Farm brings together our gardens, flowers, future orchard, bees and honey, and the other things we want to grow as the business develops.

Today, Honor & Oak brings it all under one name — Farm • Handmade • Family. We are starting small, growing carefully, and building something together that we hope will put down deeper roots for years to come.
